Homemade Big Mac recipe

How hard could it be? This would be fun for a party. People could assemble them themselves. Even Better!

1374615874_homemade-big-mac-recipe1First get four hamburger buns plus four bottoms. Two pounds of ground beef. I use ground sirloin and grind it myself from a piece of sirloin. 1/2 cup dill pickle slices, One cup of shredded romaine lettuce and 8 slices of cheddar or American cheese.

Special Sauce:

1/2 cup mayonaise

2 tablespoons French dressing

4 teaspoons sweet pickle relish

One teas. white vinegar and one teaspoon salt, 1/8 teas black pepper.

Mix all together and let chill in fridge.

Now separate meat into 8 flat patties. Cook./Drain. Lay cheese slice on top of cooked patty to sort of soften. Pickles can go over or under cheese. Your choice.

The sauce goes on the bun bottoms, then shredded lettuce, then patty, then pickles.1374615874_homemade-big-mac-recipe1
