I remember when duct tape only came in gray. It was used for wrapping around leaky pipes and broken tools. Not any more.

Now there are hundreds of colors and patterns and it is now a fashion item. My granddaughter makes beautiful wallets and notebooks. Her latest is an insulated wrap to go around a can of soda, or a glass. As she knows I love anything leopard, she made me this perfect glass wrap.Photo on 9-17-14 at 7.58 AM

If you want to ‘copy’ it, she used small bubble/bubble wrap and covered it with strips of duct tape. Then a little velcro square to attach it to itself as it wraps around a soda can. Very practical and what a good idea. Size is 10.5 inches x 4 inches and it looks like a simple project. Here is a photo of the ‘inside’ of the wrap.Photo on 9-17-14 at 8.11 AM

All craft stores have a duct tape section now, and even Walmart carries a nice selection in the paint department.
